1. App Purpose
Tickr is an informational market-display utility for macOS. It does not execute trades, provide brokerage services, or provide personalized investment advice.
2. No Financial Advice
Content displayed in Tickr is for informational and educational purposes only. Nothing in the app is financial, legal, accounting, tax, or investment advice.
You are solely responsible for your decisions, trades, and outcomes.
3. Third-Party Data and Links
Tickr may display data and news from third-party providers and may link to third-party websites. We do not control, verify, or guarantee third-party accuracy, completeness, timing, or availability.
4. Disclaimer of Warranties
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TICKR IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, OR UNINTERRUPTED AVAILABILITY.
5. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, YOU AGREE THAT TICKR, ITS OWNER, AND ANY AFFILIATES SHALL HAVE NO LIABILITY FOR ANY LOSS, DAMAGE, CLAIM, COST, OR EXPENSE, INCLUDING DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES.
This includes, without limitation, trading losses, missed opportunities, data delays/errors, outages, software defects, device issues, and third-party service failures, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
Where complete exclusion is not allowed, liability is limited to the minimum amount permitted by law.
6. Assumption of Risk and Release
You acknowledge that markets are volatile and that delayed/inaccurate data can occur. You assume all risks from reliance on app content and release Tickr from claims to the fullest extent permitted by law.
7. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Tickr and its owner from any claims, liabilities, losses, and expenses arising from your use of the app, your violation of these Terms, or your actions based on app content.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by applicable laws in the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
9. Changes
Terms may be updated periodically. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance of revised Terms.
